Dr. Linxian Li’s Laboratory has long interests in developingnovel functional surfaces and biomaterials for clinical applications. Committedto translating new materials for medical use, the Li group focuses onengineering functional materials for medical implants and developingbiomolecules as therapeutics. We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoralresearcher for research initiatives in polymer and surface science for awide-array of studies in medicine.

One postdoc position in Polymer and Surfacescience

We are searching for a postdoctoral researcher with the following qualifications and experience:

•  Applicants must hold a PhD with strongbackground in polymer physics and chemistry, surface chemistry and physics, andpolymer processing.

• Demonstrated experience usingfabrication and characterization tools such as photolithography, drop shapeanalyzer, and tensile test.

• Experience in scanning electronmicroscopy and time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry will beconsidered an asset.

• The ideal candidate should enjoyworking in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.

• Excellent command of written and spokenEnglish is required.

待遇
This is a two-year fixed-term position, with the possibilityof renewal.

The assignment is located at MWLC, Hong Kong,and the employment will follow local labour laws in Hong Kong.

A competitive remuneration package including 10%on top of basic salary (fully-taxable) intended as pension will be offered inaddition to MPF employer’s contribution and medical benefits.

A person is eligible for a position as PostdoctoralResearcher if he or she has obtained a PhD no more than seven years before thelast date of employment as postdoc. The term can be extended under special circumstances.
